Left off yesterday with the building of the fruit salads.  I also had to
put slaw out for 1600 people.  Since no ready made product exists that can
take the place of hand made slaw… it is on me to make it up.

We were asked to feed the town of Erie, Colorado.  This was a large
event as we expected 1200 to 1800 attendees.  Two hard things, the whole

In all honesty, it doesn’t seem like it. Last deployment seemed to take forever. This one has gone by rather quickly. I guess doing what you love to do, helps the time to fly by. I’ve been running a remote site at a small Patrol Base south of Baghdad supporting an infantry company. I’ve been busy that’s for sure.
