Beer & Wine? Save to MyRecipes

Postby beachcafe on Sat Jan 27, 2007 3:22 am

In my cafe plans I keeping going back and forth on having beer and wine. It is a great light menu with a strong focus on coffee and tea. But I don't want to become a bar any advise?

Thanks!

We have a small fish and chips, kinda cafe with everything else on the menu and have beer and wine available. We find people do not abuse it - a few, but not many. Many people like a beer or glass of wine with their meal, you should find it will help you. To counter the few who like to drink a lot and get loud, we have a policy of just two beers, then they are cut off. We will relax it to 3 for those who are there a long time and eating a good meal but no more than that. And we have a tavern next door, so we just send them there if they want more.

Good Luck
