Job Interview Attire Save to MyRecipes

Postby chefjamielynn on Wed Jan 31, 2007 3:41 pm

I have landed a job interview for a well known banquet house in my town. My question is this, what type of dress should I wear? Should I wear professional dress, i.e. casual suit, or should i wear my chef pants and jacket? I don't think that there will be any auditioning but i didn't think to ask...any advice would be appreciated.

either one. I was told in school to wear either chef whites or professional dress. and when I was first out of school I did just that.

For the Sam Jakes interview I just wore nice pressed Khakis and a button up shirt and sport coat. nothing too formal

Wear a suit, bring your whites.

I have to agree, Wear a Suit Jacket that could easily be removed and replaced with your Chef Jacket if and when you were asked to step into the kitchen. Good Luck at your Interview!
