Live Seafood - New Fashion Trend Save to MyRecipes

Postby Dantrax on Mon Mar 05, 2007 5:11 pm

Hi guys, would like to know your opinion about live seafood in general, as a competitive advantage in the current market. Should we concider fish tanks in each restaurant?
What are your experiences with tanks? What brand to use? What do you think about Poseidondbe? Look forward to hear about your experiences.

wow, lots of questions here.
First fresh or salt water? what about your plan, is it fin fish or shell? lobsters?

They all have very different requirements and need to be addressed differently. I'd start by tracking down your closest marine aquarium and seeing if there is anyone in the area that you can contract for tank service. you can "over clean" a salt water, especially a lobster holding tank. The growth in the tank helps towards removal of biological wastes in the water.

Good luck with this,

Tommygator, I agree there are many tech questions to think about. However, in a large scope, who is a good lobster tank manufacturer? And what should be a reasonable price for a new double deck tank?
